The Center works to reduce and prevent system involvement and interrupt intergenerational cycles of trauma, working directly with parents and families with very young children, who are at a critical and vulnerable stage of brain development. Through an evidence-based and trauma-informed approach, our Family Court Programs help protect and serve individuals and families to prevent negative outcomes.
Building on and loosely based on the successful Strong Starts Court Initiative, the Families First Court Initiative responds to the unique developmental needs of court-involved adolescents.
