All month, we are giving away our “Stop Shooting, Start Living” t-shirts as a thank you gift for any donation of $55 or more. That’s $1 for every one of our dedicated staff who work tirelessly to end gun violence.
In 2010, we launched the Save Our Streets (S.O.S.) program in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The idea was simple: could treating gun violence like a public health crisis help prevent shootings and build community resiliency? The answer—affirmed by research—is yes.
That program has since expanded, offering more services, in more places. This summer, David Hogg, Lauren Hogg, and other survivors of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, visited our S.O.S. program in the Bronx to learn how we’re working to end the culture of violence. We shared ideas, stories...and t-shirts.
To get your “Stop Shooting, Start Living” t-shirt, please make a donation below—and include your t-shirt size (shirts are unisex) and mailing address. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
