The Technology Department meets the technology needs for the Center for Court Innovation, including creating custom applications for case management, assessment, and other tools serving our staff and other stakeholders.
About the Position
Design and code core application frameworks for projects that can be reused across the organization. Define & enforce project development standards and best practices that are consistent with enterprise architecture and organizational standards and goals. Define development tasks; assign tasks to development team; monitor and report status of development tasks. Lead development of software architecture documentation. Mentor and train junior software development staff. Integrate new software and tools with existing systems. Proactively remediate software issues such as code quality, pattern mismatch and security issues related to code/configuration. Participate in and facilitate code and architecture reviews and development walk through functions. Assist project managers with knowledge transfers to new staff. Additional projects as needed. The position has supervisory duties of 2 employees.
