Jessica Kay Wachler
Senior Associate Director, Special Projects
Jessica Kay is a senior planner for the Center for Court Innovation. In this role, she manages and supports various initiatives at the Center's operating programs as well as provides consulting services to jurisdictions across the country and develops practitioner resources on a variety of topics. Previously, Ms. Kay served as the founding director of Brooklyn Justice Initiatives, where she assisted in the planning and implementation of all daily operations, including Brooklyn's Young Adult Court and the first misdemeanor pre-trial supervised release program in New York City. Ms. Kay was previously the Clinical Director at the Red Hook Community Justice Center in Brooklyn. Ms. Kay served on Mayor de Blasio's 2014 Behavioral Health Task Force. She holds a B.A. from Muhlenberg College and her MSW from the Silver School of Social Work at New York University.
