Jenna Smith is the project coordinator of the Domestic Violence Programs. She provides in-depth expert assistance to individual jurisdictions across the U.S. to plan, implement, and strengthen their responses to domestic violence. In this capacity, she develops national training events, creates written resources for justice-system practitioners, and travels to jurisdictions nationally and internationally to evaluate court-based responses and promote best practices. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Smith was the operations manager at Hour Children, a nonprofit that runs visitation and parenting programs for children and their incarcerated mothers at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in New York. Ms. Smith holds a B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., with majors in human rights studies and English.
