Red Hook Community Justice Center 15th Anniversary

The Red Hook Community Justice Center was created to improve public safety, to reduce the use of incarceration, and to improve relations between the justice system and the local community. Independent evaluators from the National Center for State Courts documented that the Justice Center achieved all of this and more.

    The NYLAG Mobile Legal Help Center (aka, “the van”) will be returning to the Justice Center  July 11th, from 10am-3pm. They will serving anyone in the community who needs legal advice on a range of civil matters- benefits, immigration, housing, identity theft, custody, divorce, and much more!

  • July 3, 2017 - 10:00am - August 18, 2017 - 12:00pm

    The JustWorks: Summer Internship Program at the Justice Center focuses on providing young people ages 14-18+, with a valueable employment experience and exposure to various career options. 

    The program runs for a total of 7 weeks (July 3rd - August 18th) in which students will learn skills, be placed at an internship site and have the opportunity to attend a one day out of state college trip! Community service projects, cultural opportunites and filed trips are also avaliable through the duration of the program.
